Hope for a Future House is a faith-based transitional program helping men rebuild their lives through Jesus Christ, accountability, employment, community, and a clear path toward independent living.

We believe a man’s past does not have to decide his future. With faith, structure, accountability, work, and the support of a strong community, lives can be rebuilt.
Hope for a Future House is more than a place to stay. It is a one-year pathway designed to help men develop spiritual discipline, maintain sobriety, become dependable employees, learn responsibility, rebuild relationships, and prepare for stable independent living.
Our heart is simple: give men a safe place, a clear plan, people who believe in them, and every opportunity to discover the life Jesus Christ offers.
Four phases. One direction: forward.
Each phase increases responsibility and independence while maintaining the spiritual and practical support needed for lasting change.
Foundation
Residents focus on settling into the house, building healthy routines, attending church and men’s group, participating in devotions and Bible study, following house rules, and establishing accountability.
Employment
We help residents move into dependable employment. Residents begin paying weekly program dues, budgeting their income, maintaining sobriety, and continuing all required faith-based activities.
Stability
Hope for a Future House provides transportation to and from work while residents build consistency, save money, strengthen responsibility, and work toward greater independence.
Independence
Residents begin working toward their own transportation, driver’s license, insurance, savings, and permanent housing while preparing for successful graduation from the program.

- Continued community and church connection after graduation
Jesus Christ is not an add-on to the program. He is the foundation.
Rules can create structure, but lasting transformation reaches deeper. We want every resident to learn that freedom is not simply staying out of trouble—it is discovering a new identity, new purpose, and new way of living through Christ.
We encourage residents to read the Word, pray, listen, obey, serve, work, and walk alongside other believers who will challenge and support them.

Chris Henry
Hope for a Future House was born from the belief that no life is beyond the reach of Jesus Christ and no past is too broken for God to redeem.
A ministry built from lived experience.
Chris Henry knows what it is like to need another chance. After years marked by addiction, incarceration, and destructive choices, his life was changed through faith in Jesus Christ and the daily practice of reading God’s Word, prayer, obedience, and Christian community.
That experience created a burden to help other men move beyond the cycle of incarceration, addiction, hopelessness, and instability. Hope for a Future House exists so that men can be surrounded by structure, employment opportunities, faith, accountability, and people willing to walk with them toward a different future.
The goal is not perfection. The goal is transformation, responsibility, and a life that keeps moving forward.
